Check out A-CHILL (Alaska Care and Husbandry Instruction for Lifelong Living) coming your way this spring! Students can explore careers and obtain dual college credits while teachers have opportunities to increase their knowledge of cultural heritage. Local mushers and other community members will be taking part.

The Performance Evaluation for Alaska's Schools (PEAKS), a statewide assessment, will be administered by YKSD to students in grades 3-10. Click to read more.
Students will have the opportunity to be trained as an Emergency Trauma Technician. They will learn basic emergency knowledge and skills so the student can provide the first responder emergency care in an emergency situation. In this class students will have the opportunity to receive 3 UAF credits and 0.5 high school credits as an elective or CTE credit. Click here to fill out our online form.
